The City of Toronto’s Rain Barrel Savings Program is returning for a second round. Toronto property owners and eligible tenants can purchase a subsidized rain barrel and downspout diverter to collect rainwater for gardens and outdoor plants.
Rain barrels help residents use less tap water, lower outdoor water use and store rainwater for hot, dry summer days. Quantities are limited, and the first round sold out quickly, so residents are encouraged to order as soon as sales open. (toronto.ca)
