About the Event
The Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra invites you to celebrate the holiday season with aFestive Evening of Holiday Classics at their CLASSICAL CHRISTMAS concert on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 8 PM. This magical evening will be led by the dynamic Conductor Martin MacDonald and feature the remarkable talents of the 2024 North York Music Festival Concerto Competition winners:
Karen Kobayashi (flute)
Ophir Strumpf (violin)
Alice Yang (piano)
These gifted young musicians will perform works by Mozart for solo instruments and orchestra. The program also includes Coleridge-Taylor's vibrant Christmas Overture and beloved selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, promising a night of joy and enchantment for all ages.
